Become a Godly Play Storyteller or Doorkeeper
Godly Play is our Montessori-based Sunday School that invites children to explore Biblical stories and church history through the opening statement, “I wonder…”. This engaging approach helps your child connect the stories to their own understanding of the world and their faith, tapping into their innate spiritual depth and encountering God in all they do. We invite you to be a Godly Play storyteller and ask evocative questions of the children or be a Godly Play doorkeeper and assist the children in their tasks during this Christian Education hour. Find out more at the Godly Play Foundation, https://www.godlyplayfoundation.org/
Getting Involved Improves Mental Health
Facilitate an Adult Forum: Have a special interest in a topic of faith? Especially passionate about a social justice issue? Have insight into how to connect your spiritual life with your everyday life? Come, share your passions, your wisdom, and your intellect by facilitating a discussion-based class for one Sunday or multiple Sundays.
Feed, Serve, or Clean-up: We like to eat at Peace. Help is always needed in providing food, setting the table, serving, or cleaning the dishes at fellowship hour or our community meal.
Be a Compost Usher at Our Meals, reminding folks which bin to discard their waste in.
Be a Worship Leader: Read a lesson, say the prayers, assist with Holy Communion, set the altar, carry the cross, light the candles, greet people at the door, sing with the choir with a quartet or solo, play an instrument, preach a sermon. These are all ways to participate in our Sunday worship service.
Assist in Our Peace and Justice Ministry: guide the congregation in its outreach to the local and global communities, help decide what organizations Peace will support financially.
Collect or distribute food to families in need at a local elementary school.
Staff our Children’s Closet: Our Children’s closet is open the 1st and 3rd Fridays and the 2nd Saturday of every month, from 10 am till noon. We accept donations of gently used baby items, children’s toys and clothing newborn to 6X. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday 9 am – 1 pm. All clothing is FREE to families in need.
Holiday Gifts: Buy, wrap, or help distribute gifts to families in need.
Church Gardener: Pull weeds and plant flowers in our gardens.
Help The Next Generation: Cook a meal and hang out with college students at UPCaM (United Protestant Campus Ministries).

Choir Practice Sunday 9 am
Labor Day through Memorial Day
Do you have a passion to sing in a choir? We are always welcoming of new choir members, especially bass and tenors! As well as Sunday Services our choir also presents musical offerings for certain liturgical holidays such as Advent, Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter.
Our choir director selects choral pieces from a variety of musical genres, always connecting them to the selected scriptures. Some selections are soft and reflective while others are jazzy and dance-worthy. We would love to have your voice join ours!
If ringing bells is your thing, come ring with our Bell Choir at our Christmas Eve and Easter morning services, with a couple of practices beforehand.
